Dating back to 1505, when the city was introduced by the Portuguese, Colombo was not a well-off destination to be, yet it had an outgrowth in its natural attractions as it is originating from the coastal belt. As a commercial hub connecting trade to the outside world and being an international gateway, Colombo retains itself as a prime city among the rest. The land is magnificently built, well structured, and has evolved throughout the decades into a worthwhile visiting destination.
